Luxembourg, one of the smallest countries in Europe and the world’s only sovereign Grand Duchy, is a city which has a lot of charm and numerous beautiful sights. It sits between the borders of Belgium, Germany and France. Seen through early morning mists, the city revives the magic of Camelot. It is a place which is very pleasantly situated and overlooks the Petrusse and Alzette Valleys. Luxembourg is a fantastic place for eating out and has quite a good nightlife with a large number of pubs, cafes and discos. Kirchberg in the north east is an extremely important town for Luxembourg which is the home of several integral European Institutions. The Grand-Ducal Palace is a popular touring destination which marks the home of the famous Grand Duke of Luxembourg, who runs the nation as head of state. Luxembourg City is a place that requires some extra time to explore. There are so many places to see in Luxembourg City that a short travelogue can’t possibly cover them all. If you go, take a full weekend and keep exploring. There’s a surprise waiting for you at every turn!
