There is only one way to discover why the Leeds Castle is known as The Loveliest Castle in the world and that is to visit it yourself. It’s a magnificent, small and charming, medieval castle set in 500 acres of beautiful parkland. The castle has an eclectic mix of period architecture, sumptuous interiors and family treasures. The castle has a maze, a grotto, a golf course and museum of dog collars. Behind the castle there’s a huge aviary with sullen looking birds from all over the world. You can see the peacocks everywhere and the black swans in the pond. Location: It is situated 4 miles east of Maidstone, off Junction 8 of the M20 motorway, just 1 hour from London, 30 minutes from the Channel Tunnel and Channel Ports. Leeds Castle is awesome. If you are in England for a while, you should make your way up there. A visit to Leeds Castle is full of discovery.
